Exercise 3 - Storyboard
Since its Halloween today, I decided to make my story be something spoopy. I know that this is the last day of spoopy month, but oh well. Basically, my video will be about a skeleton trying to scare a lady. My inspiration for this, as evidenced by the mask I drew, is courage the cowardly dog. In that cartoon, Eustace often pulled out a mask to scare Courage. Muriel would usually respond by smacking Eustace over the head with a rolling pin or whatever else she had on hand. I hope to make it comical enough for the audience to laugh.

I really like how you plane out your time frame in seconds, I think that will be beneficial when you're filming and putting the movie together. I would consider listing the angles, as well as making sure some shots aren't too long. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI like the source material you're working with here. I think its smart to do something a little spooky with stop motion because it has an association with claymation Halloween movies and the abnormal motion of it is a bit uncanny. I'll be really interested to see how you pull off the mask and the set.
